Along the centuries many civilizations and cultures have passed through the enchanting village of Mojácar and have converted it into one of the most beautiful and emblematic places in the Province. Today, Mojácar is a modern tourist destination because it has preserved its identity, together with an ample choice of sport, leisure and gastronomic activities, offering visitors security, tranquillity, enjoyment, quality and above all authenticity. Mojácar offers the possibility to walk amongst its narrow, white streets, faithful to its Arabic past, or enjoy its charming and tranquil beaches. Seventeen kilometres of these beautiful beaches are contemplated from the medieval architecture of this village.

This attractive tourist resort is full of interesting people, clearly a bohemian environment made up of people who can afford the luxury of dedicating time to themselves.

Gastronomy is the essence of a people´s culture. It is influence by the climate, he economy, the natural resources of the place, the seasons and religious festivities.

Mojácar offers a wide range of possibilities from a visit to the Alhambra in Granada or unforgettable visits of the natural parks of Cabo de Gata or María - Los Vélez, not forgetting its own surroundings: The Levante Almeriense.
